Great Primary Physician - After trying to find a primary physician for the past couple of years that has time to take care of my medical needs, I was pleasantly surprised to find a Dr. that actually listened and tried to alleviate my medical issues. Dr. McKerahan spent time without rushing through my appointment, unlike my past experience with doctors in Temecula. I was honestly nervous when initially coming to McKerahan’s office as the reviews were not so good. But I loved it. He’s very old school, Office is very old school. But he listened and treated me well. I finally had a doctor that listened to my pain, set me up for a full body screening of blood work and MRI’s. Found out I had multiple things wrong with me that was causing my pain and since being diagnosed, and taking the proper medicine. My pain is almost gone, very minor to my previous pain. Very thankful for McKerahan and him listening to me and being patient. More

At one time my healthcare group assigned me to a different medical doctors network, due to my home address, I complained to the medical group, because I feel that Dr. McKerahan has done an excellent job for the last 20 years, finally I was reassigned to Dr. McKerahan as my primary doctor. Dr Mckerahan has always been responsive and caring. I would like to see health appraisals to be handled by the doctor. The people now conducting the interviews are not thorough and rushed. There was no check for skin cancers, only blood pressure test, no checking the heart, no ekg, no checking ears nose or throat and overall was not a thorough exam. More

I went in for Opus Plasma Laser treatment.  A non surgical facial treatment with minimal down time. Increases collagen and elasticity in the skin. Omg!!!!!!!!! I look like I slept well, much younger and minimized my wrinkles .  I feel so pretty and could wrk next day! More

After reading some of these reviews I have to laugh, if you are unsatisfied  and have been seeing Dr. McKerahan for years, why did you not change doctors long before writing on Yelp?  My husband and I are more than pleased with not only Dr. McKerahan but his staff as well.  I value his integrity and the fact he is NOT willing to cheat the insurance companies and bills according to THEIR guidelines.  Appointments can be a little tough but I’ll take quality over quantity anytime! As for his staff, they are professional and pleasant.  If you don’t like your doctor... move on until you’re satisfied. More

Dr. Kelly McKerahan has been my doctor since I was 8, and I love him.  I have only ever had two other doctors when I moved out of state and that was when I realized that not all doctors care about you as much as McKerahan does.   Don’t get me wrong, he’ll get on your case if there are life changes you need to make to maintain better health, but as a doctor that is his job.  I would be concerned if I had a doctor who didn’t care.  He has follow through will any and all specialist that he sends you to and makes every visit feel personal.  He has never pushed medications on me like some other doctors who have their hands in the pharmaceutical money jar.  I have never felt rushed in one of his appointments like you can in other offices.  The only reason I didn’t give this 5 stars is because the front staff can be on and off.  Like I said, I have been going there for many years, so I have been through different office staff of his.  Some of the girls are amazing and very kind.  However, you can run into the eyes rolling, sighing, impatient ones as well.  I just ignore them and go see the doctor. Dr. Mc Kerahan is unique. He respects and values your time - I have not waited more than 5 minutes in the waiting room. This doctor spends as much time as needed with you and hears your concerns. Dr. Mc Kerahan is engaged and recalls past issues and appointments. He partners with other doctors as needed and genuinely cares about what will be the best avenue for you. I have been to many doctors, a Crohn's patient, and Dr. Mc Kerahan is the one I can trust to offer sincere recommendations for what is best for me. You will experience the same, I have no doubt. I went to see Dr McKerahan as a new patient to renew my prescriptions. Of course he told me that it was time for a mammogram, something that I had put off in the past. He gave my name to a group that actually called me to make sure I made an appointment. I had the mammogram done and they found cancer. Dr McKerahan gave me the name of a surgeon, Dr Bremner, who was amazing! Long story short, I have recovered after a successful surgery and treatment. But it all started with Dr McKerahan taking a route that saved my life! More

The Dr is Great! I really felt like he cared for what I had to say. He sat down and got to know me. Never reached for the door waiting for me to shut up like all my other experiences. Gave me great advise.His staff was a little dry. I have one complaint.  I was new to PPO and asked if I owed anything for my visit to "meet the Dr" and was told no then got billed for $100 which I guess if common.Would recommend More

When my medical condition was a "medical mystery" to an entire neurologist ICU team; they gave up on me and released me, telling my family to have me follow-up with my family physician with out any medication for my non-ecliptic seizures and body distortion . The staff at Dr. McKerahan's office got me in the very next business day. It took one episode for Dr. McKerahan to think out-side the box, something the neurologist ICU team could not do, and reach for his medical book. With-in five minutes, Dr. McKerahan had a lead, a rare condition called dystonia. He gave me a prescription to help ease the attacks, and comfort our family by saying he will never give-up on me. After seeing a movement Specialist, Dr. McKerahan's lead was correct, I have a rare condition of dystonia called, paroxysmal kinesigenic dystonia, which ironically is a neurological disorder. The dystonia foundation was highly impressed with Dr. McKerahan's quick thinking and tenderness, to be able to diagnose me with Dystonia. Most patients go for years being misdiagnose by neurologist due to it's rarity. Even thou I am in the care of a movement specialists, Dr. McKerahan still has me come in for follow-up and reviews for my Dystonia, which is a blessing. This is a life-changing muscle disorder, and to have a Doctor to care enough to sit-down and just personally take time is comforting. Plus, by doing so, he was able to catch the fact that my time-release medication is absorbing too quickly . He is the only doctor through out this process that truly heard what we have to say. She has been a patient of his for over two years and it is still a fight to refill prescriptions. At her age I just want her to be comfortable. Also, when I ask to speak to him on the phone his nurse is the one that returns my call. I am his patient as well and currently looking for a new doctor for both of us. More
